Relief Printmaking Workshops with Mollie Doctrow & Yasemin Zografos
Instructors:
Mollie Doctrow, MA, Curator Emerita South Florida State College. Her woodcuts
focus on native habitats inspired by art residencies at several US National Parks.
The recipient of many awards and grants, including a North Carolina Individual Artist
Fellowship, grants from the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs, and U.S. Institute of
Museum and Library Services. Doctrow has participated in many group and solo
exhibitions. She recently completed a public art project for the City of Camarillo, 10
woodcuts cast as metal plaques, highlighting botanical and historical sites of the area.
Her studio is located at Studio Channel Islands, Camarillo, CA.
Yasemin Zografos is a Printmaker from Thousand Oaks, California. She practices Lino and Woodcut, Wood Engraving, Etching, Collagraph, and Monotype, as well as Letterpress printing, Marbling, and Book Arts. She finds inspiration in the natural world, and the outdoors. Zografos studied Fine Art and Printmaking at Moorpark College, Cal State University Northridge, as well as many private classes and workshops. She is a recipient of the Frank Sardisco Art Scholarship award from Moorpark College, and the Bonita C. McFarland grant from the Museum of Ventura County.
